Lostwithiel Town Team - Town Trail
Lostwithiel's Town Team has been awarded funds from Cornwall Council's Town Delivery Fund to deliver an interactive Town Trail in Lostwithiel. The Town Council has approved a plan to progress this project and the Town Team are now developing plans to undertake public consultation and to explore how best and where best to create this trail.
Lostwithiel Town Team will work with the community and experts to create a trail that:
- Attracts people to Lostwithiel
- Encourages people to spend more time in the town centre
- Creates public realm improvements that are useful to the local community
- Educates and informs people about the town's history, culture, natural environment and language
In consultation with the community, the Town Team will devise a scheme and revert to the Town Council for any development permissions. The time frame for the project will see the trail infrastructure developed and implemented by 31 March 2025.
The Town Team will be in the Social Club on Dickension night to talk about the plans and will publish further opportunities in due course.
